Happiness (also called felicity) is an emotion in which one experiences feelings ranging from contentment and satisfaction to bliss and intense joy. (This definition is, however, a synonymous one rather than one based on analytic evaluation, because of the varied and elusive nature of happiness.) 

Happiness is finding joy and delight in the unexpected. It is taking life not on it's terms but on my own. It is the breaking of rules that keep me bound by convention and small mindedness. It is the giving of wings to thoughts and desires in quiet hours that seem unachievable, not rational, far fetched. Happiness is the finding of kindred spirits under my very nose. Happiness is what ever I choose it to be. I can capture it, wrap myself up in it, glow with it, dance with it...fly with it.

Happiniess can be found in the latest best seller.  It can be in a simple song of love.  I can be concerto written hundreds of years ago.  It can be in the bubbly laugh of a child delighted by the world that he sees. It can be in the crocus that just raised its head through the ground to smile at me. Happiness can be wrong choices made right. It can be simply being listened to by someone who cares. Happiness is whatever I choose it to be.

I guess my point is happiness is thought... maybe more how I think the thought .......

VERY OFTEN, IN FACT, MAYBE MORE OFTEN THAN NOT, THIS IS NOT EASY..............IT TAKES PRACTICE. 

The edge of the well is always there, I always have to be careful not to fall in.
